Hello and welcome to my little place on the internet.
I have been using a website for many years now to communicate with students and parents. During that time my site has evolved from a simple hard coded html page, to a Dreamweaver generated page, then it became a dynamic CSS site. A couple of years ago I discovered WordPress and redesigned my site as a blog. It has been a great learning experience.
The last redesign happened on December 14, 2011 when someone hacked into my server and installed malicious software. I thought the best thing to do was to wipe out the old site and start again. I have since discovered the importance of backing up but it did let me reevaluate how I am using my site. This redesign continues to focus on sharing information with students but I have decided to expand the scope of the posted content and share content with the rest of the world under a Creative Commons Licence.
Students will continue to find classroom notes and marks but I will also be sharing resources, professional development and anything that I feel I want to write about. I have also added an RSS feed to my continually updated Delicious bookmarks and a link to my Twitter site.
